Kids' Literature
Rob is in the process of producing his first children’s book. The book will be the first in a series that will be moral tales about the creatures who inhabit the Brandywine Valley in Southeastern Pennsylvania. The "Brandywine Series” will each be accompanied by a CD of music to match the story. The first book will be “Lady Bug’s Shelter”. He hopes his musings will echo the works of Aesop, Robert Louis Stevenson, Lewis Carroll and Dr. Seuss. All these made his childhood days a wonder and a blessing.
Excerpt from "Lady Bug's Shelter"
I scribblely dibblely my little dears
Of a place that I call home
Where both wild and tame like creatures and beasts
Have come to live and roam
Of the wineberry bush and the sycamore tree
And the bug that they call “Lady”
Of her friends and neighbors who do abound
In dells both sunny and shady
Now kith and kin and all will tremble
In the spotty they call home
When wind is fierce and sky is black
And Mother Nature’s wrath is shown
So curl all warm in lap or bed
And give an ear oh to this story
For this is a song of a hurricane
That gave a friendship glory
