Peer Reviews of "Remembrance"
Rob Dickenson's newest release,"Remembrance" is a return to his musical roots. Homespun storytelling with a theatrically Americana feeling wrapped into all of the songs. Having known Rob for more than 30 years, I have watched his journey and he has returned full circle back to a warm and wonderful home.
In his new CD “Remembrance”, Rob Dickenson has delivered an insightful, humorous and wry look at the modern world from the vantage point of a Baby-boomer something. Hope and idealism abound in Rob’s warm delivery, reminiscent of campfire storytelling. The music is fun and flawlessly performed in an American roots vein with a Marty Robbins western sensibility. So throw away your cares and cuddle up to “Remembrance” like a good book. It’s warm, cozy and fun. Congrats Rob.

From Remembrance's first bars, it just feels good. There's a warmth right from the beginning that I really like - beautiful melodies, the sound of the instruments, the
vocal/lyrics - the song itself - great job.
Billly Fries - Life After Elvis
I like the way Rob tells you what’s on his mind and delivers it with a song. I suggest you read the lyrics while listening; it’s like a letter from an old friend!
Your lyrics and melodies are one. I hang with every word. It feels balanced within the performances and throughout the set . The playing is thrillingly tasty. The vocals are great. I believe every well placed note and word.
